When I got to Riverwalk, there were 3 other cyclists, all with very nice road bikes. I love my bike but it is a mountain bike that's come all the way here from Thailand. It's traveled well and is tough but isn't a speed bike like they had. I was worried that I would not be keeping up with them but as we headed down the road, my worries came to nothing. I rode at a 10% faster pace then I normally do. I'm guessing that's just do to having others to pace with. We headed out about 20 kms and then they turned to head back. At that point I kept going, exploring some and when I hit 35 km, turned around. The picture is at the turn around point, out in the countryside.

The total ride ended up being 75 km (45 miles) and I was home at 9:15 am! It was great to get the workout done so early in the day and spend some time with the family. Cindy and I rode on the motorbike this afternoon, visited vegetable stands, and generally just had fun together.
