Ironman Augusta 70.3 - 89 Days to go

Today started off with P90X Yoga today which was LONG at 1.5 hrs. The first hour is a lot of sweat, especially since the room we do it in is not air conditioned during the first hour. It was 83 degrees for our workout. Maybe not "hot yoga" but certainly "warm yoga" nonetheless. Sweat was dripping but I really realized that I'm far more flexible than I used to be. When I weighed 100 lbs more I couldn't even touch the floor. Now I'm so much lighter, I can not only bend over to touch the floor but twist and turn in ways previously unimaginable.

Work was tough today and I decided to head to the gym and work it all off. I was planning a 1200M swim but decided to go ahead and slay the 2000M monster. That's the distance that I'll be swimming for the 1/2 Ironman in Augusta. I came in with a time of 54:01, which I was really proud of. The second half was the same time as the first half, which meant I was pacing mighty well.

Tomorrow, in P90X it's a core workout I haven't done yet... I'm preparing for some pain but I know it's all good!
